Events<\/h2>\n

Multicultural Student Organization Welcome Back Block Party<\/h4>\n

Held each fall, the Multicultural Student Organization, in partnership with the Office of Community and Connections, hosts a Welcome Back Block Party to celebrate students’ return to campus. This event provides an opportunity for the entire Rivier community to come together in a festive and inclusive environment while enjoying multicultural cuisine, music, and activities. All students, faculty, and staff are warmly invited to attend.<\/p>\n

“Time to Talk” Series<\/h4>\n

This monthly series offers members of the Rivier community a structured, supportive environment to engage in meaningful dialogue on current issues in politics, culture, and society. The series promotes thoughtful conversation by encouraging students to practice active listening, navigate differing perspectives with respect, critically examine ethnocentrism, and share lived experiences. Through these discussions, participants strengthen interpersonal connections while developing communication, empathy, and conflict-resolution skills essential to personal and civic growth.<\/p>\n

Women’s Empowerment Panel<\/h4>\n

Held annually in March in recognition of Women’s History Month, this event brings the campus community together for a shared meal, diverse artistic expressions of womanhood, and a thought-provoking panel discussion focused on women’s empowerment. Distinguished local women serving in a variety of leadership roles throughout the Nashua community serve as panelists, sharing their lived experiences navigating leadership and professional environments. Through personal stories, practical insights, and meaningful dialogue, panelists offer guidance and inspiration to empower the next generation of leaders. The event also offers valuable opportunities for networking, confidence building, and leadership development.<\/p>\n

Heritage and Identity Months<\/h4>\n

Events held in observance of national heritage and identity months are designed to educate and celebrate the diverse identities and communities represented within the Rivier community. These programs are intentionally scheduled in alignment with the national calendar to promote awareness, recognition, and inclusive engagement. Heritages and identities celebrated include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
